Where is your business located?

We are located in Starlight Indiana. This is also the location the cakes are shipped from.


How do you ship your cakes?

The cakes are shipped frozen in an insulated box and sturdy shipping box via UPS. They are shipped with dry ice or a coolant that will keep them frozen.


How can I pick up a cake directly from your kitchen?

Cakes can be obtained directly from our kitchen by appointment. Please call 812-697-3803 to schedule your pickup.


Do you offer custom cakes?

We specialize in signature cakes and do not offer decorated or custom cakes. You will soon be able to go to our Blog page to see some of the fun and easy ways you can decorate one of our cakes for special occasions.


What icings do you use?

Each cake has a delicious icing, which complements the cake, but doesn’t overtake it. The icings are described on the page with each of the cakes.


How many people do your cakes feed?

The nine-inch cakes will provide 14 - 20 slices.


What methods of payment are accepted?

Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. We will also accept payment via money order. Please send your money order to 7721 Saint Johns Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119.


What is the easiest way to ship to multiple addresses?

Please call us at 812-697-3803 or send an email to daileydelights@gmail.com to discuss shipping to multiple addresses. We are able to accommodate your request and will work with you to assure delivery to everyone on your list.


Can you deliver to a P.O. Box?

Unfortunately we are unable to ship a cake to a P.O. Box due to the nature of the product.


Do you offer corporate discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for large corporate gift giving. Giving your clients or employees a cake is the perfect way to express your appreciation to them. Please call 812-697-3803 or send an email to daileydelights@gmail.com to discuss your order.

Yes, we offer cakes for wholesale. Please call us at 812-697-3803 for pricing and shipping information to your restaurant or retail establishment.


What should I do with the cake when it arrives?

Your cake is delivered to you frozen in order to preserve its freshness. Upon arrival, place the cake in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy it. Unwrap and rewrap while frozen to maintain the design on the icing. Wrapped well, your cake may be frozen and refrozen for up to three months. For best results, rewrap it in plastic wrap and then wrap in foil or the Dailey Delights cake tin and return it to the freezer.


To thaw, unwrap the cake while still frozen and place it in your refrigerator overnight. Check the label to determine if your cake requires refrigeration after it is thawed. Cake is always better at room temperature so microwave a piece on low power for 10 – 30 seconds, depending on its temperature, to enjoy the full flavor of each bite!


Are refunds available?

Refunds cannot be given for a shipment once it leaves our facility for the following reasons:

  • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • Delays caused during major holidays
  • Weather related delivery issues
  • Problems beyond our control
  • Cakes that have become unusable due to failure by the recipient to follow cake care instructions as marked on the packaging.

Everyone's tastes are different, and while it is rare, sometimes the cake might not be what you were expecting. We do apologize, but cannot replace cakes or issue refunds due to cakes received which are not liked as a result of taste or appearance. Due to FDA regulations regarding food items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for cakes once they leave our property.


What happens if my cake cannot be delivered?

We cannot be responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. When possible UPS will correct addresses for a surcharge. Please make sure you have provided the correct zip code, apartment #, street #, or type of street (Blvd., Rd., Ave., etc.) to avoid this surcharge.

UPS has been instructed to not require a signature so the cake can be delivered on time to the correct address. UPS may leave cakes at the door if there is no one home. However UPS may choose, at its sole discretion, not to leave a package at the door if they feel it would be unsafe for any reason. UPS instead will leave a tag indicating how to arrange pickup or another delivery.

Regrettably, we cannot be responsible for undeliverable cakes or delays in the receipt of cakes due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control including the absence of the gift recipient.


How do coupons and discounts work?

Coupons and discounts can only be applied to products not on sale. Coupons and sales offered on daileydelight.com are valid until 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) of the identified day. Discounts and sales offered by daileydelight.com are available only on orders placed online from daileydelight.com unless otherwise stated in the sale information.
